Senior Photo Survival Guide
Make the most of your Senior Portrait session by spending just a couple minutes to read the tips listed below. If you have additional questions just give me call or use the contact form to send me an e-mail.
Scheduling your Photo Session
Your Senior Portrait session will usually take a few hours with clothing and background changes. When you select a date for your photo session please allow up to 3 hours.
Get Plenty of Sleep
Get a good nights rest before your Senior Portrait session. This will minimize problem areas such as dark circles under your eyes and help keep you upbeat and smiling throughout your photo session.
Eat a Light Meal
Eat a light meal before your Senior Photo Session. It will generally take a couple of hours to complete your senior photo shoot, so it is a good idea to eat a light meal to avoid hunger and fatigue. However, make sure you keep it light – in other words, save the “all you can eat buffet” for another night.
Keep on Changing
Make sure you bring several extra clothing change. I admit, your favorite shirt might be cool, but trust me, you’ll want a variety of photos to choose from. Bring clothes you are comfortable wearing, bring clothes you are uncomfortable wearing, bring formal clothing and bring casual clothing. While I want you to be yourself, give me some creative options to help make you look your best.
Don’t just stand there. Bring some props! Find a few items that express your personality or maybe items that just look really cool. A good prop can be anything – your favorite old hat, a musical instrument, motorcycle, car, letter jacket, sports equipment, pom poms, books anything that screams YOU! Your photographs should reflect who you are and what you're passionate about.
If you need more time, we can discuss a longer session. I will travel to Bastrop, Ruston, Columbia & Rayville areas for any photo session. If I travel outside of this area at your request, there will be an
